I am involved with the WEDC because I understand the impact of the business climate on the welfare of the City. The City has more than doubled in population in my short time as a citizen and will continue to grow, needing more services as time goes on. Providing a strong commercial and industrial presence is necessary for the City to capture the revenue from sales tax and to keep the citizens from the surrounding areas shopping Wylie first.
